As the plane lifted off from Taoyuan International Airport, I knew I had no regrets. I would miss my family and friends for sure, but i guess the little voice in my head that said “go adventure, leave this boring summer behind” took its toll. And as I fell asleep in the tiny space the airlines call “economy class”, my head was filled with expectation to what was to come.

再來就是搭巴士到達CTU (捷克科技大學在布拉格) Czech Technical University in Prague. 我將在這所學校交換一年的時間。在這稍稍做一下這所學校的介紹:

我住的宿舍叫做Masarykova, 是CTU 最好的宿舍，所以我真的很lucky! 這宿舍是專門給CTU每年400多位的交換生住的，但不是每個交換生都能住!

妳說我愛不愛台灣?
兩人一間(同性別)，三間成一戶(可不同性別) 。共用一洗手間，一洗澡間，一廚房，一客廳! 這會不會太爽了啊!
室友是個很nice的singaporean, 隔壁兩間住一美國及一新加坡男生，另一間住兩名墨西哥女生。

校園逛逛 out and about the campus
在CTU 沒有明確的校園與市區之分，就好像學校跟城市是結合在一起的，有些學院也分布在布拉格各地。我的校區叫做 Dejvice, 也是CTU 最大的campus.
There is no clear distinction between the city and school campus. In fact, some colleges are scattered around Prague. I live in the biggest campus called "Dejvice".

Thoughts on the first day:
Honestly speaking, my first sight of Prague was not what i expected. I guess i have read so many travel books, and thought it up so much in my mind that i forgot that “people” live here! And like all places humans live, there are some litter here and there, some uneven roads here and there. But, our school and the city is so beautiful! And at the time of this writing, I have already visited Charles Bridge, Prague castle, and old town square. And believe me, when you see the pictures, your eyes are going to pop out, and your heart rate it going to climb exponentially and you’ll feel completely spellbounded! But it’s late, and there is school tomorrow. So i guess if you wanna see the beauty of Prague, you’ll have to stay tuned until next time! Ahoy! (czech for hello and goodbye)
捷克第一天的感想:
老實說，剛到時我有點不如我預期。我像太多旅遊書及自我想像讓我忘記這裡也是住人的地方。只要有人住的地方就會有點小垃圾及"路不平"。但，學校及布拉格真的好美喔!
在我寫這篇時(第三天)，我已經去查理斯喬，布拉格城堡及老城區。相信我，當您看到照片時，你會不敢相信有這麼美麗的地方! 妳的眼睛會張大，妳的心跳會加速，妳會覺得不可思議! 但現在已晚了，明天要開學了! 若你想看那些照片，就忍內點吧! 我有時間就會再寫一篇!
